I am an engineer working for a shipbuilding company in Vietnam. 3 years ago my company decided to find a new industrial maintenance service provider since the previous one didn’t live up to our expectation. We came to Vivablast with a hope for better services, and we couldn’t be happier about that decision.

Industrial flooring system
Vivablast has delivered high performance floor coatings, especially remedial works on worncracked floors. Our factory floors have stayed firm and been able to endure high weight as well as pressure. I personally think highly of the Blastrac shot blasting method, which is dust-free and environmentally friendly for preparing concrete and steel surfaces. Last year, we welcomed a group of international experts visiting our company, and they concluded that Vivablast’s industrial flooring system was of international standard quality.

Surface preparation
We are quite satisfied with Vivablast’s surface preparation service, which is clean, safe and effective. Vivablast has helped us designed, built and operated large grit painting factories equipped with automatic recovery system and dedusting integration system. The head engineer of this project is of excellent expertise and skills together with the well-trained workers to perform such high productivity and cost-effective service to us. Moreover, Vivablast also can make their factories produce 24/24, 7/7 if we have high demand of output requirement.

HP/UHP water jetting
At first we were pleased to hear that Vivablast has more than 15 years experience of HP/UHP water jetting operation, and now we are even more pleased to witness their high performance without a single failure. The systems allow 300bar to 2,500bar of pressure (4,300 to 36,250PSI), which is suitable for cleaning and paint removing. Our ships are fully refreshed as most types of foreign debris have been completely removed from them. In addition, the overall project time is also quite short.

Thermal spray coating
The service provides significant corrosion protection improvements and are particularly effective to protect our ships in marine from high or low temperatures and corrosive environments. The benefits of this service are limited maintenance, low service life cost and superior adhesion. Worn components and mismatched parts of ships are properly repaired with safety ensured. We have noticed that our ships are protected for a long time as their abrasion and temparature resistance have been improved a lot.

Passive fire protection
We have used Vivablast’s intumescent coatings to ensure that our factories are always fire-free and also bear no risk of being on fire. The coatings can withstand extreme temparatures for an extended time. Furthermore, the steel structure of our ships are also provided with corrosion protection and a strong decorative element. Durability is the best benefit of this service: intumescent coatings don’t readily flake off when struck and can be fairly easily repaired with Fire Tex M90 – an efficient applicator of which Vivablast has complete mastery.

Waterproofing
Our factories require strict waterproofing techniques, and Vivablast has completely fulfilled our requirements with great results. Even in the raining season, our factories are kept dry and safe thanks to the sophisticated concrete, underground structures and floors applications along with the prestigious brands that Vivablast has carefully chosen such as Adeso Bit, Argo or Awzel. One more thing, Vivablast really has deep knowledge of our needs in shipbuilding industry so that they are able to maximize our satisfaction.

Hot, cold, accoustic insulation
Vivablast has really proven to be the specialist of the entire insulation process, from fabrication to installation, including project management. The insulation engineers are able to proceed to the insulation material take-off and ensure that the works are done in compliance with job specifications, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Moreover, state-of-the-art equipment and tools combined with the best practices also greatly add to the overall efficiency and quality of the project.
PU foam and polyurea application
Polyurethane foam spray is effectively utilized, which is applied by the professional Vivablast applicators through their unique and specialised twin component spraying equipment. It produces a highly effective long-term insulation, which gives excellent protection against heat and cold.
In Polyurea application, Vivablast has developed a unique activity in Vietnam, which helps them be capable of managing excellent applications to give our ships weather tolerance and resistance to thermal shock, solvents and acids.

Spray-on insulation
The sprayed-on insulation performed by Vivablast using SpreFix G application is stable even in bad weather conditions and is not affected by vibrations generated by ship engines or propellers. Instead of using conventional techniques and materials as our previous provider did, Vivablast has successfully applied the new SpreFix Techology, which results in cost-effectiveness, faster execution time, superior energy efficiency, easy repairs and changes to conduct satisfying insulation projects.

Scaffolding
Vivablast has also proven their professionalism in scaffolding projects by using computer-based tools to design, erect and dismantle reliable and safe scaffolding accesses. They comply with the strictest safety requirements and regularly maintain and renew their scaffolding equipments and materials for total safety compliance. Vivablast has always met our deadlines even in difficult scaffolding projects with excellent results despite the hard conditions. We also experienced another type of access once- Support Work, which was good.

Rope access
Sometimes we have to conduct shipbuilding projects in hard-to-reach locations due to the current situation. At that time, we can say that our shipbuilding projects, especially very large ones for logistics purposes, benefit a lot from Vivablast’s rope access service. We really trust Vivablast in rope access projects as they utilize the latest technology for PPE by Petzl and regularly inspect their equipment as per manufacturer’s recommendations, according to our company’s supervisors.

All you have written in your review is same to my opinion. I just want to add that I like the way the consultancy staff work, very careful, thoughtful and customer-driven. Our company especially thinks highly of Vivablast's spray on insulation service, which greatly preserves our ships against sea water and wind by utilizing the latest technology that not many companies in Vietnam have tried.

I like your review article, which analyzes clearly the good points of Vivablast's services. I'm also an engineer working for a construction company in Binh Duong. Vivablast is our good partner as we really think highly of their industrial flooring system, which is a very safe and long-lasting protective solution for our damage-prone floor.
