I bought a candy fridge from this company £184.99. I ordered it on the 13th may 2009 delivered 19th may 2009 the fridge door doesn't close the freezer box doesn't freeze And its making a buzzing noise its clearly faulty. When I phoned them to let them know what was wrong they said it sounds faulty they offered me a replacement I said no thank you - so they asked me to pack the item back up and put the returns label on it and it will be collected within 14 days. The next day thursday 20th may I get a call from them asking me for the serial no from the back of the fridge. I said yesterday you asked me to pack it back up now you want me to unpack it again to get the serial no - I wasn't happy but I unpacked it and gave them the serial no, they said they would ring me back and let me know when its being collected. friday 21 may , I get another call from them saying the item might not able to be returned - and there's nothing they can do about it at this point and a manager would ring to confirm this later in the day, 3 pm I get a call from a manager and she said she's emailed candy and is awaiting a reply. So its late afternoon Friday 22nd may - I've heard nothing from them so yet again I ring them, I was told there's no record of this return or email being sent to candy - I was advised to ring candy myself and ask them to repair the damaged fridge. A complaint with trading standards has been made. They state under the sale of goods act 1979 section 14 when you buy something it should not be faulty. IM now left with a faulty fridge and a bill for £184.99 for something that doesn't work, Studio don't seem to care they have no record of anything other than a bill for £184.99 which has to be paid within 3 weeks otherwise they will add APR and other charges if not paid on time. I deeply regret ever shopping with studio, they are rude and dont have any integrity what so ever ! Im not going to ring them anymore because all im doing is running my phone bill up calling 0870 6022332 for a waste of time. I've sent many emails, all i get is confirmation its been sent with no other reply from them. the last time i spoke to them I asked why are you doing this ? would you pay for this item ? they said thats the way it turns out sometimes - i just have to except it and pay the bill ! and you must call candy for a repair!! I put the phone down on them they are nothing more than online scammers! What do i do next ? ???

Hi, I read you story and just cannot believe.
What I would do is to register a dispute for this transaction.
Make a copy of Terms and Conditions of the vendor.
If you paid with a credit or debit card simply register a dispute with card issuer. (you have only 60 days to start it later it will not be accepted, phone them for more details)
You can even phone the merchant and ask for an address where to send this faulty item back, but if you do so always use a sign for service to keep proof of delivery.
I am sure that if you start from this end your money would be back with no problem.
