Failure to deliver
Posted by: Rel
Rel at 2009-06-21
I ordered a item off an Internet site paid for a 1-2 day first class recorded delivery, the item failed to arrive. I waited 6 days and attempted to report item undelivered however, Royal Mail state that this item is not lost or undelivered until 15 days has past. I request that this item be found and sent on or information be sent on how to make a claim for a lost item.

I was completely ignored by Royal Mail. I have had to buy another item which has already arrived (postage and packaging was cheaper than royal mail!), meaning that I have paid for two items but only have one.

Royal Mail sell this as a first class service, 15 days is not first class, nor is ignoring your customers when they explain why they need the item before the 15 day waiting period before you can claim an item lost.

It has now been 12 days and still nothing.
